A great start

The importance of a good system for a great start

So, we’re on week three and all the planning of the summer is finally coming together as the weekly routines and systems are starting to kick in.

This week, I began my weekly school visits in earnest and it was fun! The range of activities and learning that I saw was enormous: from new groups settling in with their fantastic new Maths teachers in Year 9, to Year 3 groups making their own wormeries as part of Science week. The enthusiasm and energy in so many classrooms was palpable!

As a trust, we take very seriously the progress of each and every one of our children and for me, it was extremely gratifying to see such a strong and enjoyable start to the school year.
