Midday Supervisor
We are seeking to recruit a temporary Midday Supervisor to work at Sherard Primary School, for 7.5 hours per week Monday – Friday, term time only (38 weeks).
Reporting to the Midday Manager, the role of Midday Supervisor is an important one within the school and will help to ensure that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment. Due to operational needs, you will get the opportunity to work with both SEND students and mainstream children.
Experience of working within a similar role with children and the ability to understand key policies e.g. Child Protection and Behaviour Management are essential. Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be able to work flexibly within the team and will be respectful and caring towards the pupils.

About the Mowbray Education Trust
The Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton. The MET currently has one secondary school, five primary schools and one pre-school; with potential numerical and geographical growth in the future.
Melton Mowbray is a rural market town in Leicestershire which is easily commutable from Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham.
The MET has a central support services team, with staff managing Estates, Finance, HR, IT and Operations, across our schools. The central team are based at offices within John Ferneley College in Melton Mowbray.

The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, contributory public-sector pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement:
- Actual Salary: £3,502.25 - £3,534.05 per annum (FTE £20,817 - £21,006)
- Local Government Pension Scheme membership
- 5.7 weeks paid holiday entitlement rising to 6.27 weeks after 5 years’ continuous service
