New Vacancy- Midday Supervisor

We are seeking to recruit a Midday Supervisor to work at The Grove Primary School, working 5 hours per week (12 Noon – 1pm), Monday – Friday, term time only (38 weeks).

Reporting to the Midday Manager, the role of Midday Supervisor is an important one within the school and will help to ensure that children are eating and playing in a safe, friendly environment. 

 

Experience of working within a similar role with children and the ability to understand key policies e.g. Child Protection and Behaviour Management is desirable.  Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be able to work flexibly within the team, and will be respectful and caring towards the pupils. 

 

About the Mowbray Education Trust

The Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton.  The MET currently has one secondary school, five primary schools and one pre-school; with potential numerical and geographical growth in the future.

 

Melton Mowbray is a rural market town in Leicestershire which is easily commutable from Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham.

The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, contributory public-sector pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement:

  • This is initially a fixed-term role for 13 months
  • £2,082.42 – £2,102.77 (£18,563 - £18,748 FTE)
  • Local Government Pension Scheme membership
  • 5.30 weeks paid holiday entitlement rising to 6.27 weeks after 5 years’ continuous service
